Who We Are
Better Education for All.
VšĮ Edupiada is a non-profit organisation based in Lithuania, active in the fields of education, youth development, and intercultural communication. Through our three core programmes, we work with different groups — from primary school children to university and intellectual communities — and operate an educational network both within Lithuania and internationally.
What We Do
We coordinate the Baltic region for the Pangea Mathematics Olympiad, now in its 11th year in Lithuania. We manage the competition's communication processes and coordinate the question-writing process together with international partner organisations. The programme works with children and teachers from grades 1 to 8 — our platform has 8,000 registered students and 1,300 registered teachers.
We promote the VILIPO Project Olympiad abroad, representing Lithuania and this school project olympiad at fairs across EU and non-EU countries. The programme works with students, teachers and schools aged 12–19, aiming to build environmental awareness; we bring the most successful projects to Lithuania to be developed further in coordination with local research centres and universities. Through VILIPO, we are part of an international educational network centred on Lithuania.
Bookworm, founded by us, is a reading programme that brings young people together around a book. The programme works primarily with Lithuanian youth; young people of foreign origin living in Lithuania may also take part. Bookworm is not a one-way “adaptation” programme — its core is a two-way experience of getting to know one another and integrating: participating young people come to know each other's culture, language, and perspective. Joint discussions with Lithuanian authors deepen this encounter through literature. Through Bookworm, we work with children, young people, university communities, and intellectual circles alike — giving us a flexible structure for cooperating with partners across different ages and education levels.
We are looking for partner organisations for EU projects in the fields of education, youth, and intercultural communication. The diversity offered together by our three programmes — from primary school to university, from local communities to international networks — makes us a strong partner for versatile EU collaborations.
